چکیده

We study a relation between nuclear forces based on phenomenological approach (Vph) and nuclear effective field theory (VEFT ) from a viewpoint of renormalization group. We find the relation between these two types of nuclear force using Wilsonian renormalization group equation. Considering the fact that VEFT is defined in a certain small model space, we show that a simple contact interaction accurately simulates short-distance physics, and that VEFT is free from dependence on modelling the details of the short-distance physics. Based on our result, we discuss some features of nuclear effective field theory.

On the Nucleon Renormalization in Many Nucleon Problems Due to Pionic Degrees of Freedom+

Conceptual problems of unified two-nucleon force models are discussed. The force models are based on the pion-nucleon vertex and attempt a description of the nucleon-nucleon interaction below and above pion threshold. The conceptual problems arise from the nucleon renormalization due to pionic degress of freedom. Keeping channels with a single pion only no renormalization procedure can be given...

Time-Dependent Real-Space Renormalization Group Method

In this paper, using the tight-binding model, we extend the real-space renormalization group method to time-dependent Hamiltonians. We drive the time-dependent recursion relations for the renormalized tight-binding Hamiltonian by decimating selective sites of lattice iteratively. The formalism is then used for the calculation of the local density of electronic states for a one dimensional quant...

Consideration of Nuclear Forces from the Viewpoint of the Renormalization Group Relation of Nuclear Forces between Phenomenological Approach and Nuclear Effective Field Theory

A relation between nuclear forces derived using a phenomenological approach and nuclear effective field theory (NEFT) is proposed from a renormalization group point of view. A phenomenological nuclear force (Vph) and an NEFT-based NN-potential (VEFT ) are satisfactorily related to each other through the Wilsonian renormalization group (WRG) method. It is clearly shown that use of the simple con...

A NUMERICAL RENORMALIZATION GROUP APPROACH FOR AN ELECTRON-PHONON INTERACTION

A finite chain calculation in terms of Hubbard X-operators is explored by setting up a vibronic Harniltonian. The model conveniently transformed into a form so that in the case of strong coupling a numerical renormalization group approach is applicable. To test the technique, a one particle Green function is calculated for the model Harniltonian
